Together with Pedro Ojeda, Colombian musician, drummer, percussionist and composer we visit five legendary Colombian drummers: Guillermo Navas, Plinio Cordoba, German Chavarriaga, Juancho Cuao and Wilson Viveros. These survivors of the generation who created the rhythmic codes and percussive sound of the Colombian Tropical orchestras in the 50´s, 60´s and 70´s, talk about the scene and the orchestras they played with, revolutionizing the music in the whole American continent with rhythms like: Cumbia, Porro, Gaita, Guaracha, Fandango and Merecumbé, among many others.
Paradoxically, today do not have the recognition they deserve.

Pedro Ojeda (Romperayo, Los Pirañas) represents the new generation of Colombian musicians who began to explore this rich music past creating new sounds based on it.
