These audiovisual stories were developed collectively by the artisans in a self-reflexive process about their craft. The workshops allowed them to identify the satisfactions the work brought them, the challenges they face today, and to\u00a0acknowledge the value of their handicraft work reproducing the cultural heritage of the region they inhabit (Department of Atl\u00e1ntico, Colombia). We hope that by telling their stories more people value the handicraft work, because each object made tells a personal story about the origins of the community.<\/p>\n
Las artesanas y artesanos construyeron de manera colectiva esta historia audiovisual en un proceso de auto-reflexi\u00f3n sobre su oficio, que les permiti\u00f3 identificar las satisfacciones que les ha tra\u00eddo, los retos que enfrentan hoy en d\u00eda y reconocer el valor que tiene su trabajo artesanal como reproductor de la cultura material e inmaterial del departamento del Atl\u00e1ntico. Esperan que con esta historia los habitantes del Atl\u00e1ntico y del resto del pa\u00eds valoren el oficio artesanal, porque cada objeto que producen cuenta una historia personal, familiar, de una comunidad y sus ra\u00edces.<\/p>\n
